Sarah K. Wilson, DDS

A patient focused approach

Sarah Wilson, DDS was born in Ashland, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate education at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She graduated in 2011 from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where she was awarded membership in national honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Recognized for her efforts in the Mission of Mercy (MOM) Projects, Dr. Wilson is dedicated to supporting her community.

 

Dr. Wilson has been practicing compassionate and comprehensive dental care in the Roanoke area for over a decade, and is devoted to continuing her education and staying up-to-date on advancements in technology so that she can best provide for and improve her patients’ dental wellness.

 

Dr. Wilson believes that everyone deserves a smile to be proud of.  She is committed to providing excellent care in a comfortable environment, and it is very important to her that every patient feels at home.

 

When she isn’t making people smile, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and twin boys.  Hiking and biking with the family are favorite pastimes, and she also enjoys cooking, gardening, and yoga.  She teaches group exercise classes at the YMCA.

 

Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

D. Gregory Wright, DDS

Dr. Greg Wright was born and raised in Roanoke Virginia. He attended James Madison University and graduated with a BS degree in biology. He went on to attend the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1992.  He was commissioned into the United States Air Force and completed an Advanced Education General Dentistry residency at Scott AFB Medical Center near St Louis,  Missouri. He practiced in the USAF Dental Corp for 7 years, serving in Texas, Georgia, and Germany. After leaving the USAF, he joined a private practice in Macon, Georgia before moving back to Roanoke in 2001 and joining the practice of Dr Jim Roberson, taking over after his retirement in 2003. 

 

Dr. Wright volunteers at the Bradley Free Clinic and served on the board of directors from 2003-2020. Since 2015, he has taught at Virginia Western Community College’s dental hygiene program and serves on the Advisory Committee.


Dr. Wright has been married for 34 years. His wife Kathy is an attorney in Roanoke at the firm, Gentry Locke.  His hobbies include running, biking, working out, and golfing. He and his wife enjoy traveling and hope to visit all 7 continents.
